SampleCut by Shiru

This is a small tool that helps to cut large WAV files that contains a
series of one-shot files separated by silence into array of separate
numbered files. Gets very handy for recording and preparing various
sample packs.

You can control how the file is going to be split using a few parameters
and visual graph that shows how many parts is detected and where they're
located.

The window above shows waveform and split areas. You can scroll it
horizontally, and change scale using Display scale trackbar.

Load button loads large wave file.

Save button saves all found pieces into files that are named as
specified plus _NN number in the filename, where NN is 00 to 99.

Gate thresh trackbar sets up silence level. You may need to change it if
your source file has some noise floor.

Release thresh sets the level when a signal considered to be end of a
part. You may cut unwanted release noise using it.

Attack thresh defines how fast the signal rises up to be detected as
beginning of a new part, to cut out quiet part at the beginning of each
part more carefully.

Release speed defines how fast signal drop gets considered to be end of
a part. You can fill quite gaps in the source signal by increasing it,
to avoid unwanted cuts.
