Bigfun BF-630A2 Sound Master, also known as Denn DEK-61mini, is a
Chinese sample-based toy keyboard. Bought it for $22 in 2019 (new). A
nice one, but totally ruined by two major issues. First, all sounds are
noticeably overdriven even at lowest volume, which does not allow to
play full chords cleanly. Second, some key combinations even in the
simplest three-note chords produce ghost notes, even though it has 4
voice polyphony (at least), often giving a totally wrong chord. Other
than that, it has 61 key, starting from C-1, 16 instruments, 8 drum
samples, 5 drum rhythms, and packed with many features such as
one-finger chords, recording, MP3 backing, and 7-segment LED display
even. Unlike many other keyboards, this one seemingly uses only
chiptune-like short looped waveforms with volume envelopes rather than
full samples (except the drums).

To avoid distortions as much as possible, I recorded direct signal
coming from the synth board, before it goes into internal amplifier that
is located on a separate PCB. The output was hooked up to the line-in of
a Behringer UMC204. Multiple ranges were sampled to catch some of the
keyboard's specific 'crunchy', kind of always-vibrating sound.
